Neurological Physiotherapy

Neurological disorders are those affecting the central nervous system (CNS), including brain, spinal cord & Nervous.  It means messages from the brain or spinal cord are not reaching affected parts of the body and this can result in loss of movement , loss or reduced sensation, unco-ordinated movement, weak muscles, spasm, spasticity & tremor.

Neurological physiotherapy is able to kick start message pathways by activating multiple neurons of Affected area through repetitive exercise & actions. This concept is known as neuroplasticity . Thus , patients get results because of neuroplasticity of the affected area.

In our center, neuro physiotherapists have expert skills in assessment ,identification and diagnosis of and treatment of patients with movement difficulty.

A neuro physiotherapist initially assesses the patient in detail by observation skills, special measure and hands on assessment techniques. Identify major areas of problems and accordingly diagnose and make a detailed plan of treatment for next 3 months. After 3 months, the therapist reassesses the patient in detail and identifies areas of improvement and problem areas , again making  a plan of treatment.
